Fair condition, dark blue hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has heavy scuffing, fading, stains, small tears, fraying, some small pieces torn off the corners, and crushed corners.  The internal binding is torn, loose, and pages are partially detached from the binding.  Some pages have stains, pieces torn off, tears, or lots of notes written in pen (which have caused ink bleeding).  Inscription in pen on flyleaf. The title page has writing in pencil and eraser marks.
