Fair condition, black hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has tears, pieces torn off, heavy scuffing, some stains, fading, and fraying.  The internal binding is torn.  The second flyleaf has writing in pencil and eraser marks.  Some pages have faint stains, pencil marks, or wrinkling.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
