Fair condition, black hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has long tears on the edges of the spine, some pieces torn off, some additional tears at the corners and edges, slight denting, stains, and some fraying.  The internal binding is torn and loose, causing the front cover and spine to be detached from the binding.  Some pages have stains and winkling.  The front inside cover has a lengthy inscription written in pencil.  The front flyleaf has been torn out and is missing.  The title page has a large piece torn off, some writing in pencil, eraser marks, and an ink stamp.  The pages have marks and notes written in pencil.
