Beautifully bound in red leather; gold design on boards and spine; raised bands on the spine; very nice; marbled end sheets; gold leafed page edges; minimal wear to binding; actually quite nice; overall very nice. Very ornate.
Text is clean throughout; minimal amount of foxing throughout. Hymn book used during the reign of King George III during the American revolution in the King’s own chapel at St. James Palace. Very rare!
