4 fair condition, red hardcovers with no dust jackets.  The covers have scuffing, stains, dents, bent corners, and fraying.  Some pages have ink stamps (including on the edges), stains, or yellowing, but the text throughout is clear and legible.  The front flyleaves have writing in pencil and eraser marks.  The inside covers and flyleaves also have notes taped to them (which tape has also left stains).
