George Fox’s Journal — 1765?

Large size book. Extremely worn; more than one piece of leather sewn onto the spine to reinforce the old book!

Title page and first several pages are missing; starts with page xxxi. Some pages are loose and heavily worn especially along the edges.

The page count suggests this book might be the 1765 edition, but we are not sure, since the title page is missing.

The book measures about 12 inches tall.

We have photographed the front, the back, and the first chapter heading, along with the inked inscriptions on the page opposite that chapter beginning.

There are a few other inscriptions and names in the book, the only date we see (inked in) is 1865.
