Fair condition, tan hardcover with no dust jacket, and with a missing spine.  Because of the missing spine, the front and back covers are detached from the binding of most of the pages, but are still attached to each other and the flyleaves.  The covers also have heavy scuffing, fading, tears, pieces torn off, stains, and creased corners.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil, eraser marks, and marker scribbles.  Some pages have small stains or yellowing, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
