Brown leather binding is in tact; frontispiece illustration right before title page is half missing; some pages torn; just a few loose illustrations, and many of the illustrations are chipped or torn or missing pieces; title page torn a bit and part of the bottom right corner is missing part of the margins; foxing from age on most pages; but still overall a fair condition copy for its age.
