Fair condition, thick, black hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has some scuff marks, particularly at the corners.  The inside covers and flyleaves have stains, and some later pages have yellowing at the edges.  There is a photograph inserted between the last two pages, with some small tears on the edges.  The internal binding is torn, causing some pages to be partially detached from the binding.  Some of the pages are slightly wrinkled.  The title page has writing in pencil.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
