Fair condition, red hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has heavy scuffing and scratches (mostly on the back), and a tiny, white stain on the front.  The front inside cover has writing in pen.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil.  The adhesive of the inside covers shows through the paper pasted to the boards.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil.  Some pages have yellowing along the edges.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
