Fair condition, brown hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has heavy scuffing, fading, dents, stains, tears, pieces torn off fraying, and slightly crushed corners.  The inside covers and flyleaves have some stains.  The front inside cover has a pen mark.  The internal binding is torn and slightly loose.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil and eraser marks.  The edges of some pages have small stains or small tears.  Some pages have pen, or pencil marks and notes in the text and margins.
