2 fair condition, large hardcovers with brown spines and no dust jackets.  The covers have scuffing, bent corners, and some small tears at the corners.  The internal binding of Vol. 1 is torn and loose.  Some pages have minor creases, small tears, or small stains, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.  The inside covers and flyleaves have scuffing.  The front inside cover has a stain. The flyleaves and title pages have some writing in pencil and eraser marks.
