2 fair condition, dark green hardcovers with no dust jackets.  The covers have an white circle painted on the spine, some scuff marks, and fading.  The books have ex-library marks throughout, such as debossed stamps, stickers on the front inside covers, catalog card pouches on the back inside covers, and stickers on the back inside covers.  The flyleaves have some writing in pencil.  The edges of some pages have faint stains.  Some pages also have small stains in the margins, but they do not interfere with the text or illustrations.  The included fold-up maps the books came with are missing.
