Fair condition, oblong hardcover with a red spine, and no dust jacket.  The cover has tears, pieces torn off, scuffing, stains, wrinkling, and scratches.  The internal binding is torn and a bit loose.  The front flyleaf has a signature and inscription written by the author in pen!  The front flyleaf also has writing in pencil and eraser marks.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
