Fair condition, red, white, and blue hardcover with no dust jacket, and a red spine.  The covers have wear, some tearing, some dust stains, and some color fading, while some of the silver embossing on the spine has faded away.  The inside front cover and the fly leaf has some pencil marks.  The fly leaf has a gift inscription written in pencil.  The binding is a bit loose (minorly torn at the inside covers), but overall is holding together well.  The inside back cover has some ex-library stamps.  Some pages have very small stains, but otherwise, the text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible……………………………..v1 Bx850
