Fair condition, thin, burgundy hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has scuff marks, fading, the name of a previous owner engraved upon it, but covered over with black marker, and bent and slightly frayed corners.  The flyleaf has a lengthy inscription written in pen, and some additional writing in pencil and eraser marks.  The Introduction page has 3 ink stains, but otherwise, the text and illustrations of the remaining pages are clean, clear, and legible.
