Fair condition, green hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has tears, scuffing, fading, scratches, and fraying.  The internal binding is torn and loose, causing some pages have been mostly torn from their binding.  The first two flyleaves have the signatures of the LDS Historian Leonard J. Arrington written in pen!  The inside covers and flyleaves have scuff marks.  The first flyleaf has writing in pencil and some eraser marks.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
