Fair condition, red hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has scuff marks, some fading, the spine have a couple small pieces torn off of it, and the top and bottom edges of the spine, and the corners (which are slightly bent) are torn and frayed.  The internal binding is a bit loose.  The front inside cover has writing in pen and pencil.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil and some eraser marks.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
