Fair condition hardcover with a black spine, and no dust jacket.  The cover has some tears, some pieces torn off, some fraying, some crushed corners, and scuffing.  The front flyleaf has a signature and inscription written by the author in pen!  The inside covers and flyleaves have some stains.  The front flyleaf also has some writing in pencil and eraser marks.  Some pages have tiny stains or minor scuffing on the edges, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
