Good-fair burgundy hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has some scuffing, some faint stains, and a price sticker.  The front flyleaf has a long strip of itself torn off.  The first and second flyleaves have writing in pencil and eraser marks.  The second flyleaf also has some writing in pen.  The page before the title page has a signature written by the author in pen!  The edges of some pages have minor tearing.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
