Good condition, gray hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has scuffing, pen marks, fading, and the corners are slightly crushed and fraying.  The inside covers both have ex-library stamps, with some writing in pen and pencil.  The flyleaves have scratches, some ink stains, writing in pencil, and eraser marks.  A couple pages are creased, a couple have their corners torn off, and one page has a small green stain in the margins.  Otherwise, text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
