Cigarette Silk / Tobacco Silk

Measures about 6 inches by 8 inches; quite good condition, blue with stripes of yellow and red with a white swastika-like symbol.

These are sometimes called “cigarette silks” of “tobacco silks.” They were inserted in packs of cigarettes or could be obtained by sending in coupons stuffed in the packs. The design came in sets and were meant to appeal to women.
