Fair condition, dark blue hardcover with no dust jacket.  The covers have been detached from the pages and spine.  The covers have large pieces torn off, additional tears, scuffing, fading, and fraying.  The binding has some fraying, tearing, and is loose.  Some pages are detached, or partially detached from the binding.  Some pages also have dark scuff marks.  The first two flyleaves have tears, writing in pencil, and eraser marks.  The title page has some ink bleeding from the illustration on the page before.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
