Fair condition, large, brown hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has fading, scuff marks, scratches, tears (particularly at the edges of the spine), and fraying.  The front flyleaf has a stain of paint.  The flyleaves have yellowed with age, and have some stains.  The second flyleaf has writing in pen, and pencil.  The title page has some writing in pencil  A few of the early pages have been torn free of their binding, but are still included.  Some pages have stains that do not interfere with their text or illustrations.
