Fair condition, hardcover with a brown spine and no dust jacket.  The cover has scuffing, some tearing, and the corners have some tears and fraying.  the internal binding is torn, and slightly loose.  the front flyleaf and title pages have writing in pencil and some eraser marks.  The preface page has a signature from the author, and the numbering for the book written in pen.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
